I’m a mother, a wife, an ex-wife, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a recovering alcoholic, a suicide survivor, a woman with depression, bipolar and a host of other bad habits and hang-ups. I’m your neighbor, your friend, your co-worker, maybe even you. My struggles are no worse or no easier than anyone else’s. They are simply mine.
I’m also a writer. There, I said it out loud. I was a writer long before I knew it. This blog is a place for me to use my life experience and my writing to help others who might be hurting. It’s a place for me to use what God gave me, the gift of writing. Sometimes I don’t want to, and most of the time I’m scared to do it. But I’ve fought God and myself long enough. I’ve found that life is a whole lot easier when I just cooperate with Him.
You can find more of my writing here and can get daily devotionals here. I will constantly be updating this blog with book release information and other events. Thanks for stopping by and for helping me carry the message of hope, recovery and faith to others.
